Winter Storm Watch Issued For Our Region

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Northern Virginia region. A wintry weather mix will begin this afternoon and continue into Wednesday evening as a part of the larger winter storm (Nor’Easter) Toby.

This storm will bring a prolonged period of light to moderate precipitation to the region beginning today in the form of rain, then will change mostly to snow overnight (1-3 inches possible) and into Wednesday (3-5 inches possible) as colder air spreads southward.
