FORMER NRA POLITICAL DIRECTOR CHUCK CUNNINGHAM ENDORSES TIM HUGO FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

Centreville, VA – Chuck Cunningham, who served as the National Rifle Association’s Director of Federal Affairs and later as Political Director, added his name today to the list of prominent conservatives endorsing Tim Hugo’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor.

“I am supporting Tim Hugo’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor because I know gun owners can count on Tim to protect their Second Amendment rights,” said Cunningham. “As a member of the House of Delegates, Tim always stood firm against attacks on our right to keep and bear arms and I know he will do the same as Lieutenant Governor.”

“I am honored to have Chuck’s support and proud of my lifetime ‘A’ rating from the NRA,” said Hugo. “With the Democrats’ continued assault on our Second Amendment rights, it is imperative that Republicans take back control of our government in Richmond this year. I look forward to working with Second Amendment advocates across our Commonwealth to beat the liberals at the polls this November and stop their unconstitutional gun grabs.”
