Sheriff Bob Mosier Endorses Tim Hugo For Lieutenant Governor

FAUQUIER COUNTY SHERIFF ENDORSES TIM HUGO FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

Centreville, VA – Fauquier County Sheriff Bob Mosier endorsed Tim Hugo’s campaign for Lieutenant Governor today citing Hugo’s long standing support for professional law enforcement resulting in justice for victims of human trafficking. Sheriff Mosier joins the growing list of Virginians supporting Tim for the nomination.

“Tim Hugo had a proven track record of supporting local law enforcement when he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates,” said Mosier. “Tim carried the constitutional amendment that provided tax relief for the spouses of fallen law enforcement officers that gave their last full measure and that’s a vote we will never forget.

“Tim has also been a leader in the fight against human trafficking. He sponsored numerous bills that have allowed law enforcement to hold violent criminals and sex offenders accountable for their crimes against the most vulnerable. I know he will continue to be a friend to those of us in law enforcement and continue to seek justice for victims of commercial sexual exploitation. That is why I am proud to support his campaign for Lieutenant Governor.”

“Virginia needs leaders who will stand up for our men and women in law enforcement,” said Hugo. “As a Delegate, I fought to make sure our law enforcement officers had the resources they needed to protect our families and communities, and as Lieutenant Governor I’ll continue that fight. I am humbled to have the support of Sheriff Mosier and look forward to working with him to make Virginia a safer place for our families and businesses.”
