TIM HUGO OUTRAISES GOP OPPONENTS, CEMENTS STATUS AS FRONTRUNNER FOR GOP NOMINATION FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

Centreville, VA – After announcing his campaign for Lieutenant Governor three months ago, Tim Hugo cemented his status as the frontrunner for the GOP nomination for Lieutenant Governor today with finance reports showing he outraised all of his nomination opponents. Although entering the race later than his opponents, Hugo now starts the year with a significant cash-on-hand advantage over his GOP rivals.

During the last reporting period, Hugo’s campaign raised $104k while his closest opponent reported raising $45k. Hugo’s campaign starts the new year with $92k cash-on-hand compared with his closest opponent at $27k.

“I am grateful for all the Virginians who are joining me in our fight to take back the Lieutenant Governor’s office,” said Hugo. “In the months ahead, our campaign will continue to focus on raising the money and building the grassroots network we need to defeat the Democrats in November and restore conservative governance in Richmond.”
